What were our challenges?
The client required an eCommerce website for uploading products, designs, and creations to create an eCatalogue for their prospective buyers.To prevent competitors from stealing or copying the designs, only registered and verified buyers should be able to access the site. Only after the admin approves his registration can the buyer access the storefront.Additionally, the client wanted to create a lightbox for the registered buyer where the admin could create a lightbox and share only some of the links of his products with that buyer. Light-boxes are deactivated automatically at the end of an expiration period.
The solutions we offered
On the basis of the custom developments requested by the client, our team created an eCommerce store for a single brand with restricted storefront access for registered, verified, and approved buyers.We made the registration process for buyers a here closed one, where the admin had to approve and verify the registration form.When a user's registration was approved, administrators could set up a lightbox and set expiration dates on product links. Users were notified by email at the email addresses they registered. When the buyer clicks on that link, he or she can see the products that have been shared with him and can query for any product.A buying process was not included in the solution.
